Fungal disease that attacks vegetables and flowers in the cabbage family. Plants wilt during the heat of the day. Older leaves turn yellow and drop, roots are distorted and swollen. To control, select resistant cultivars, rotate related crops and thoroughly compost sick plants. Apply liquid biological activators and cornmeal.
