Composting Chemicals


Unfortunately, it is true that cut flowers, conventional produce and other common scraps for the compost pile have been sprayed with pesticides. On the other hand, the best way to neutralize the toxins is to compost the plants. If the compost temperatures reach 140 degrees, the toxins will in most cases be broken down by the microbial activity.
