CURRENT MOON

Indian Hawthorne

Indian hawthorn is a fairly well adapted evergreen shrub that does OK here in north Texas if it is planted in well prepared beds rich with compost and all the other organic amendments we recommend such as lava sand, Texas greensand and cedar, is in full sun and is not over watered. Since like red tip photinia it is highly susceptible to root fungal diseases, an application of whole ground cornmeal to the soil will normally bring good results to plants that are struggling.
