Eucalyptus mulch is OK but native cedar is far superior. It is cheaper, recycles native material, repels pest insects better and breaks down better to grow plants better than eucalyptus. The only exception is if you live where eucalyptus is growing. In that case it's best to use mulch made from plants growing on your properly.
