INFO:             SafeLawns Organic Night is a state-of-the-industry gathering of leaders in the North  American organic movement. Held in conjunction with the annual symposium of the Garden Writers Association (which will meeting in Dallas, Sept. 10-13).

Safe Lawns Organic Night is both a celebration and a “meeting of the minds” on the trends and future of the growing organic gardening and landscaping movement. Garden writers, radio show hosts, TV personalities and others from the U.S., Canada and throughout the world have been invited to attend.


Paul Tukey, founder of SafeLawns and director of the award-winning documentary A Chemical Reaction, will moderate a panel discussion on the State of the Organic Lawn & Garden Industry in North America.

The Organic Industry Panel Discussion will include:

  • Steven Bessette, President of EcoSMART
  • Peter Wild, President of ArborJet
  • Howard Garrett, The Dirt Doctor™ (organic gardening guru)
  • Bill Jameson, President and CEO of Master Nursery Garden Centers

    *Highlights of the feature-length documentary film,  A Chemical Reaction
    *Information about leading-edge organic products will be available
    *Food and refreshments will be served
