SAGE, CEDAR (Salvia roemeriana) Very easy to grow 1’ high perennial with red bloom spikes.  This plant does well in shade to part shade.  Summer flowers attract hummingbirds.


 

SAGE, JERUSALEM (Phlomis fruiticosa )Large growing perennial (36 – 48” height) with unusual yellow flowers late spring through early summer.  Grow in full sun and remove spent bloom spikes.


 

SAGE. RUSSIAN (Perovskia atriplicifolia) Fine textured silvery green lacy leaves, spiky stalks and lavender flowers mid summer through fall.  Prune to 3” after the first hard frost.  Likes dry, well-drained beds.
