HABIT:  Upright, lacy foliage, flat topped clusters of flowers. Flower colors include white, rose, pink and yellow and red. Native to Europe. Achillea mille olium is a white blooming, very tough species.

CULTURE: Easy in any well-drained soil. Plant in spring or fall.

USES: Perennial border, cut flowers.

PROBLEMS:  Some varieties grow tall and need to be staked.
