Here is my dilemma: a recent visit to a dentist ended up with a recommendation of $8000 of work b/c my mercury fillings and tooth grinding have apparently caused cracks in my molars.
I am always skeptical of any medical person who does not give any more natural, less invasive (and less expensive!) options in addition to the standard answer.
I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has experienced major dental challenges that could have potentially been expensive, but found a dentist who readily recommended more natural, cheaper methods of working on the problems. If so, what were your problems, how did you dentist help you and who is it?
