I look at it this way; they have to eat and shelf life will depend on whether or not you have them in the frig. I assume they are no the dried nematodes.

Best to apply ASAP in early AM or late PM. Water in after application to wash them down to the soil.

I've never use them but I hear that 90 day old BN are getting pretty geriatric. They need to be in the soil, not the fridge.

Dchall:

90 Days sounds about right if kept cool. Don't go and purchase the BN's then go shopping at the Mall. Heat in the car will do them in for sure.

The question ask was, "what is the shelf life?" That could be taken as at the Nursary or at home.

Good point, Zip. Shelf life in the fridge is 90 days MAX. Shelf life in the hot car is probably more like 15 minutes.

In any case, they need to be applied as soon as practical when you arrive home with them.
