Cailou asked this at the bottom of another thread. I think it's worthy of its own thread.

Where can we get kelp meal? We're in San Antonio but willing to drive some. And do you have a price on it?

Can you make it by grounding up economical packs of edible dried seaweed or kelp from local oriental grocery stores?

Kimas Nursery in Bastrop has it, as well as lots of other organic products. I drive there from College Station a couple of times a year since I can't find organic products here. Bastrop is about half-way between here and S.A., you can make the trip in a couple of hours. Their web site is http://www.texasgrown.com/
