I've heard two things.
If you can pile it all up and cover it with either manure or molasses, you have a chance at composting it.
The other thing I've heard is if you can let the grass grow tall and develop a litter layer among the pear, the cocheneal bug will develop in the area and eat the pear to the ground. |
