I have two of these plants that came up volunteer in my flower bed. I am trying to find out how they got there. I need to know if they grow from seed or from bulbs. I also need to know the characteristics of the plant, will it come back, what type of soil and watering. :?

I'm sure there are others here that know a lot more than I about lilies. I'm fairly new at growing lilies but the Stargazer lily grows from a root. It might be possible that it was in with another plant or plants you purchased. The Stargazer lily is an Asiatic lily. There are many different forms of lilies. From what I've read they are very hardy and grow great when they get full sun and have good drainage so they don't have wet feet. They do multiply and that's a big 'plus'. You can go to this website and get some ideas about lilies:
