Some people have expressed interest in bulk quantites of bagged fertilizer, drums of molasses and vinegar, DE, etc. I have or am locating sources for these materials now. Let me know what you need and I'll get you a price. Since these materials have considerable weight, we need to be creative about helping each other out with pick-up and deliveries to avoid freight charges. Robert from Rehoboth Ranch shared some information earlier about bulk lava sand and others have mentioned compost and mulch. Let me know what else you need.

I'd be interested in a couple hundred gallons of Black Strap Molasses which has not been cut with water. About 8 years ago you could buy lava sand from the mine in New Mexico. About $1500 per truck load, 25 tons.

I am located near Canton/Tyler area, and would be interested in any sources: URL-website/phone, email, company names, etc. of any/all organic gardening materials.

Also, was wondering if anyone knows of a closer location than Dallas for lava sand.

thanks,
TR

In the San Antonio area i have found the molasses at the Producers Co-op in New Braunfels and south of town I found it in Devine at Morales Industries. The cost is 11 cents a lb. and a gallon weighs about one pound. what I would like to find is Kelp Meal, does anyone know where to get it?

I use to have a source for chicken litter out of east texas by the truck load. In fact they would even spread it for a little extra. I have lost the number and am trying to locate them. If you know of a source I would like that. I think they were in the Pittsburg, Texas area. thanks, Terry

There is a business directory on the home page of Howard's site that lists all sources of organic materials.
