i have 2 insects in my squash this year :cry: and one of them is the boring worm, but the other is a black looking bug that reminds you of the june bugs, any idea of what the name of the baddie is? this dirty dave of fort worth txs :P

Squash bugs are dark brown, gray, or black looking, but don't look like a junebug. Maybe what you are talking about are ground beetles? If so, they are beneficial from what I have read and heard. Squash bugs look kind of like an elongated stink bug, and they have a distinct odor when you step on them.
