Looking for any information concerning how to tie the knecks of dipper gourds in knots - I have seen pictures of them tied in a knot together (2 and even 3) but do not know how it is done Thanks! :D :!:

Richard-
I saw a garden in Chicago with dipper gourds hanging down from a trellis. About 25% had knots in them. Here's what I can recall from the conservation with the owner.
The longer the handle, the better. Start tying the knot as soon as you can after bloom. Attempt the procedure during the hottest part of the day when the tiny gourd is more supple. Involve the gourd stem in tying a very loose overhand knot. Do not attempt to tighten it at this time. As it grows the weight of the gourd will tighten the knot. You may need to make adjustment along the way. Knot gourds should be grown on a fence or trellis.
