I'm trying to "go organic" and have not used synthetic fertilizers or pesticides for several years, but I'm having trouble locating a source for the components of an organic program.

I don't have a truck or trailer so going long distances to pick up relatively large quantities of material does not work for me. I can't even seem to find a source for orange oil.

Any info about sources near Waxahachie would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

There are locations listed in the back of the DD mag. You might find one or two close by.

For orange oil, whole ground corn meal and molassas, try a farm and ranch feed store.

The Greenery (972) 617-5459 on HWY 77 carries a good selection of organic products.
The Boyce Feed Store (972) 937-1541 carries natural DE.

I don't know of any sources near Waxahachie but if you strike out you can always order organic inputs and products on line at www.agorganics.com.

:D Thanks. I have found a feed store and a nursery where I can get most of what I need at this point. I have found that I have to check on how long the products have been on the shelf as I got some nematodes that were seriously old (almost a year).

The feed store did take them back and apologized. I am happily using a variety of the products with positive results.
