 We are having a problem with bull nettle in our back yard next to our children's swing set. We have tried to dig it out of the ground and have even been forced to use Round Up. Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

No one is ever forced to use round up. You made a choice to put neuro toxin on yard for pets and kids to get into with its potential health problems and of cource it gets tracked into the house so that it is on floor in kitchen and carpets.
The best "stuff" for killing any type of vegetation is vinegar - 20%. Put it on plant late in AM as it is getting hot outside. Stuff will die!
Use hand sprayer with a little soap to keep vinegar on leaves.

If you really want to speed up the action of the vinegar, add a couple ounces per gallon of orange oil to the mix. This mix will take out most anything within a few minutes to an hour. Vinegar alone takes 4 hours on most broadleafed plants and 2 days on grasses.

Don't get any of this stuff in your eyes or your off to the hospital. Getting it on the skin is kind of rough to some sensitive people.
