| I've a gravel driveway 1000 feet long. The tire tracks are mostly free of grass and weeds but, in some areas, grass has taken over the gravel. How can I sterilize the soil, even just for a season, so it won't grow bermuda and weeds? |

Use 20 % vinegar in spray bottle with a little saop on hot day. This will not hurt soil but will kill grass. Don't use herbicide!

You can enhance the weed killing effect by adding a couple ounces of orange oil per gallon before spraying.
Watch out for the spray. Don't do it on windy day. Also be careful when transfering the vinegar to your sprayer. It is very dangerous if it gets in your eyes. Very dangerous. Just be careful or wear goggles. |
