I have a new bug and it's on everything! It's on every plant, the side of the house, fence posts, everywhere. It's about 1 inch long and 1/4 inch wide, grayish/greenish. It has long wings, but doesn't fly very often. Even when I am killing them, they prefer to try to walk away. However, they are good flyers. I've looked in the Texas Bug Book and another book, but cannot figure out what it is. I live in Western OK. Has anyone else seen these bugs or know what they are?
Thanks! |

| What's the shape of the head, shape of the thorax, and shape of the abdomen? Are the legs long or short? are there any markings, or are they a solid color? |

| Perhaps it's one of the many types of leaf hopper. Look in Howard's bug book on page 87, the middle picture. |
