My creek bed is dry, as it is every summer. A four foot post hole has 12'' of water in it. Does anyone have experience putting in a 20' well in gravel on the cheap?

These questions might seem irrelevant, but here goes...

How much land do you have and how many animal units are you carrying? Do the animals have free access to the creek? What is the general condition of the land as far as grass coverage %. Do you ever get any erosion when it rains hard? Do you have tanks on the property that hold water?

Maybe we can get the water flowing all year long with some adjustments.
