I would like to plant some fruit trees for the fruit and would like some sugestions on the varieties to plant. I would like to plant a couple of peach trees, pear trees, plum trees, apricot trees, apple trees and a persimmon? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

Peach trees seem to be pretty so-so here. Some years they do wonderfully, others they barely hang in there. I've not really tried growing any of the ones you mention except apple trees.

I've successfully grown Golden Deliscious, Red Deliscious, Gala, and Winesap apples here. Remember to give them birdd/bug protection in the mid summer so the fruit makes it to fall.

I know that there are others that will make it here. If I had more room, I'd add a honeycrisp and a honeygold to my orchard.
