Caterpillars are controlled naturally by paper wasps. If you have any on your property, leave them be. They are very social and will learn to leave you alone long before you learn to leave them alone. If you think you already have plenty of wasps in the area, just reach up with a broomstick or something to tear open the tents and allow the wasps inside. Wasps can completely clear a tree of caterpillars in a few hours.
If you do that and the wasps don't come in a day, then you don't have any wasps. Try BT worm killer. I believe that is a Green Light product. Any product with BT in it will work. |
