Where can I find pine straw mulch in the DFW area? Just moved here from Florida where you can buy it everywhere, but can't find it here.

We have a better product. Look for cedar mulch from the Texas Hill Country. The cedar mulch from East Texas is a different tree and is not as good.

What part of Florida? I spent the first 10 years of my life in Titusville. Dad worked for IBM at the cape (Kennedy Space Center).

I saw some pine needle mulch at North Haven Gardens. Give them a call before you go.

Cedar is my preference. It repells bad bugs, but not the beneficials. Have you biven it a try? You can find it shredded in different sizes. North Haven Gardens also has fine shredded cedar under the "Gardenville" name. If you want bigger pieces, go to Lowe's for the best price. :)
