Wanted to share with some of you about those wild
morning glory's I was reading about earlier in the planting
season last spring. I noticed many of you wrote about
not likeing them. I had to surrender, as I have so many
I wasn't about to do anything other than try to become
friendly with them, which I did. NOW, am I glad.
Every morning since about May, I would go out
to check on the garden. Since I have a homemade
trellis, very funky, but cute, of pecan branches,
these little lavender morning glories have taken
it over. At first I was bummed, not now though.
Every morning I would see those cute little black
and yellow bumble bees out there pollinating away.
THOSE cuties just adore those morning glory's.
My tomatoe plants are planted right next to that trellis,
and I just read that bumble bees are great for tomatoe
plants. Now am I glad I didn't pull all of them up, as I
have had prolific tomatoe plants as far as fruit goes.
So happy for those little bees and happy to have a
place to read such great info.
