Does anyone know of a source for bulk vermicompost in the Central Texas area. Specifically within 50 miles of Killeen Texas. :?:

I'm still experimenting with this so check my thread about it on the compost forum.

I recently discovered that soldier fly larvae had invaded what I call my 'precomposting bin' where I store all my compost materials when my pile is about finished... well those little suckers work overtime and processed everything in sight into dirt in about no time flat.... Since Killeen is warm I think you'd find this an easy way to 'grow your own' and rumor has it they are great fishing bait (because you need to catch fish to add to your compost of course).

Once I learn more about these critters i will see if there is a good way to collect pupae and send them out to anyone who wants to try them... talk about vermicompost makers - these guys do everything but take the trash out and come knock on the door if I don't feed them.... I am actually tossing them an extra pound of corn meal each morning now just to keep'm going until I get more stuff for them to eat.
