I bought several Burr Oaks from an auction in the Dallas area. The trees are very large and were ball burlap. On one of the trees I have several (7 or more) Green June Beetles climbing over each other to get into the crack of the bark. When I examined it closer I could see the June bugs were eating something from the tree (sap?). The trunk is also covered with ants in the same area. The tree has not lost any leaves but the whole tree is a pale greenish yellow except the bottom two branches they seem to stay dark green. Any idea of what's going on? :?
