Can anyone help me find a good ground cover to plant along my walkway. It is on the north side of my home, under constant shade from the house or several trees, on the north side of San Antonio. The walkway is about 5 feet wide, the center 2 feet are concrete stepping stones with very little separation, the remaining 3 feet (1.5 each side) is currently pecan shell mulch that is about 3-4 inches thick.

You might consider monkey grass. It can handle the shade and has no runners to trip people. You can even mow it once in awhile if it gets too tall and it is fairly easy to rake. Mayby other people have some good suggestions.
