A friend gave me some seed pods of the beautiful Texas Star Hibiscus and am eager to start my own plants. When is the best time? Can I direct sow outside or do I need to plant in a pot so I can baby it this winter? How long or what size before it flowers? Thanks in advance for any tips in getting me going.
