What's the best way to continually feed rye organicly during cold months when the soil reaches 50 degrees & microb activety slows to minimal, which inturns slows the break down of corn fertilizers...

Will the corn type fertilizers still break enough when its cold, or should I go a different route when feeding perennial rye.

Thanks,

I would continue with 10 pounds of corn meal per 1,000 square feet every 90 days throughout the year.
