Would it be bad for me to tear up the little brown cardboard tubes that are on the inside of the toilet paper and paper towels when they are empty instead of recycling them? Just a thought.

| After you tear them up, what are you planning to do with them? If you put them in compost, it is OK. If you put them in garbage, not so good. My choice would be to recycle them. |

I compost around 50 pounds of cardboard every month... a little molasses added and toss it in the pile with a good nitrogen source and you get nice compost from it....
Recycling in a different manner |
