Anyone have some red maple seeds or burr oak acorns that they know are ok they want to unload? I don't know of any of either type close to me to gather some seeds and I'd like to start a few in pots under lights over winter.

I have a near champion Burr Oak tree about 60 feet high that has plenty of acorns. In fact, another member of this forum, Chapster, just came and collected some. He has a unique process he's going to follow to get them started. Send me a PM if you want to collect some.
