I've got a problem that I brought on myself. At one time, we had no shade in our yard. Also, I love fruit trees, especially since one of my hobbies is making jam, jelly and preserves.

Anyway, I planted a crabapple tree in a really bad location between the path going from my patio to my greenhouse. This makes it almost impossible to get a wheelbarrow through the small walkway. The crabapple is still pretty small, about 2 1/2 to 3" diameter trunk and about 6 1/2 ft. tall.

My question is, is it too late for me to try and move it this year? I planted it primarily to help pollinate 2 other apple trees I put further back in the yard. I have a spot picked out, and I'm a little nervous about killing it once it's larger. It's been in the ground going on two years now. (I didn't have a greenhouse to have to get to when it was planted!).
