Unfortunately I was away from home at the end of last summer. My vegetable garden was terribly negelected when I returned and was overgrown with grassy weeds. Will spraying with 10% vinegar prevent the seeds from germinating? There were thousands of seeds on the ground and I am afraid other preventitive measures will not work. Plus pre-emergents will prevent my new veggies from growing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Much Thanks in Advance!

Uncle David,

The 10% vinegar is a burn down product to be used on emerging weeds it will not work to prevent weeds from germinating. In a garden the best thing to do now is prepare your soil by removing weeds physically and mulch to prevent further weed seed germination.
