I am looking for some to add to my wide flower beds. I like anything but the common orange. Is there a place around the metroplex that would have them in the winter? I used to live in MS and they were everywhere, people traded and swaped these eight inch across blooms in burgundy and yellow... the twenty I brought with me haven't done real well. They didn't like the year they spent in pots and once planted, the goats got out and did them in once or twice, but the fences are up and strong now and they still thrive. I love daylilies, but hate the price tag from the catalogues I have been flipping through. Any help would be appreciated.
