Wondering about planting peanuts would be used as personal use and the dried stems etc. given to goats.
Anyone done this that has ideas etc.
Also where would one find the seeds or raw peanuts to plant
spanish verses virgina in this area???
Live in the Ft Worth area sandy and clay soil. Have probably 1/2 acre I would like to plant.

I'm from the sand hills of South Texas, and we grow peanuts galore down there! So if you have sandy soil, you should be fine in that regard.

But I do not know where they get the peanuts to plant in the first place, or the type of peanuts used.

Good luck!
