:?: The weeds are up and doing well. I have a mix of St. Augustine and Bermuda. Much of the grass is green and no longer dormant.
Will it be beneficial to put the corn gluten meal on now? Where is the best place to obtain it in the Lewisville, TX area? |

| The weeds you are seeing now germinated last fall, so it is too late for them. If you had a big crop of crabgrass last summer, then you can put CGM down now for that. You may have missed your opportunity if you live south of Austin. Please tell us where you live so we can help you better. |

| I live just west of Lewisville and south of Denton. Thanks fir your reply. I found a corn gluten meal blend at Home Depot. I think it was 40 pund bags for $20. I have 3 acres to cover. Is that the normal price and is there a more economical way to get large quantities? |

I'm not sure what the product at Home Depot is "blended" with. Generally your best prices for CGM will be found at your local feed store. Recently it's been about $20-$25 for a 50# bag in the DFW area. I've never investigated any places for large quantites/pricing, but others might have some advice on that.
