Hello all. I was introduced to this site by a good friend and thought it was great and had to join in. As you can see from my user name I am in HVAC but I also enjoy growing things as well. My favorite two are Iris (exotic colors/types not the run of the mill purples :D ) and Roses. I guess you can say I have always grown things organic because my father always used the grass clippings and leaves as mulch for potato plants and I use used coffee grounds/egg shells to loosen up and nourish my hard pack soil. I look forward to learning new ideas and maybe even pick up a new plant or two to grow.

Howdy back at 'cha Doc.
Sorry about the welcome delay but I've been fuss'n with another BB.

My Iris, deep lavender, are really look'n nice this year, When they're done for the year the lawn mower keeps them ready for next year and seems to give them a kick for even more growth.

I don't do much fish'n any more but Dad always put the coffee grounds in the worm growth tub. Mine now just go into the compost pile(s).

I'll be watch'n for some of your post.

Have fun.
