New member here. I'm very excited to find an active board on these issues. We moved into our new-to-us house last summer and have spent the last 9 months undoing problems that have taken years to build up, including lots of overgrowth and undermaintained yard/landscaping/gardening work. I mowed yards for years and years when I was growing up and did landscaping in high school for spending money but never truly enjoyed it. It was just something to do for easy cash. But now that I have my own yard, beds, trees, etc., I'm finding I really do enjoy it, and all that experience in my youth is becoming really valuable.
