| I doubt that we will have a freeze in this area; we might have some frost so you should be prepared to deal with it! |

The last freeze date in the DFW area I believe is around 29 March.
For Sweetwater: Freeze dates: First date - 9 November and the Last date - 2 April. |

For what it's worth, the news last night projected that the last freeze has come and gone, at least for the DFW area.
I sat through 20 minutes of mindless drivel to get that one tidbit of information, so I thought I'd pass it on. |

Hi, new to the forum but not new to organic gardening.
My Dad always told me that if the mesquite trees have budded than we will not have another freeze. |

| I've heard that too. Mesquite is always conservative. |
