I need help on killing nutgrass. We cannot use anything other than organic products and hoped there was someone out there who has idscoverd how to kill it naturally. Thanks. karen kendall

There is no sure organic OR chemical solution for nutgrass. My wife waged war on it in the flower beds and pulled it every day. Eventually it ran out of gas and didn't come back.

I agree with Tony M, in that I know of no surefire, guaranteed product to kill nut sedge. I too have tried to eliminate it from my beds by physical removal. Though I cannot declare myself as a winner in that war, two things provide some relief. First healthy beds provide a loose medium which facilitates the removal. Second with healthy doses of cedar mulch in those beds, the nut will often form in the mulch and removal is not problem at all. The nut grass in the lawn gets mowed and I don't worry about it.
