Are there organic measures to prevent the lilkihood of blackleg in grazing calves? We've just logt a 550 lb. heifer which we'd only had about a month (unsure about vaccination status). This was the first case of blackleg on this farm in 60 + years although neighboring farms have had losses. Will appreciate any help.
