Cows stomachs are only designed to digest grass, not grain!! Over half of all sodium bicarbonate (antacid) is taken by grain fed beef.
Have a great day folks. |

| I believe it, but do you happen to have a source for the number? If I tell other folks about it, I like being able to cite something :) |

There are all sorts of interesting feed ingredients for the feedlot and dairy industries. Here are some examples from Simplot's feed ingredient division http://www.simplot.com/agricultural/simphos_feed/products.cfm :
Ammonium Sulfate-Feed Grade 21-0-0-24S
Dicalcium Feed Phosphate 18.5P
Mono-Ammonium Feed Phosphate 11-24P
Monocalcium-Dicalcalcium Feed Phosphate 21P (That must be typo; I think they mean Monocalcium-Dicalcium. I don't know what Monocalcium-Dicalcalcium would be.)
Sodium Bicarbonate
Deflourinated Phosphoric Acid 23.5P
I wonder if feeding fertilizer to cattle improves the fertilizer quality of the manure  |

Sorry. I should have given information to back that statement up. You should find this site interesting.

Don Tyson of Tyson checken fame also
controls alot of the pork in this country,
he owns IBP Iowa beef packers and chickens
50% of chicken diet is chemicals including
arsnic to make them eat more. but they
stop it 5 days before slaughter so there
is none in their system (Right Wink, Wink)
pig confinement has sows in boxes and
they can't even turn around.
The beef comment on grain and Arm and
Hammer baking soda is correct. Of course
hormones, steroids, antibiotics, and chemical
wormers are added in and then don't for
get out gassing from plastics and styrene
(bottom of package) that cause depression,
cancer, and early sexual development in
young ladies.
I nominate Don Tyson for legal action for
"Crimes against Nature"
