HELP ! ! Re: Cornmeal Juice in Foliar Sprays

In the past several days, I have searched & searched, but have been unable to find
info as to the qty of full strength cornmeal juice to add to user concocted Foliar Sprays.

I find this statement @ many places:

However, I have been unable to find directions as to how much (#ounces or #Tbsp) per gallon water (or foliar spray) to use.

I know it is there somewhere, as I concocted such a spray using Garden Valley 'Garrett Juice', Erath Earth 'Orange Oil',
Maxicrop 'Liquid Seaweed', and my "HomeMade" CornMeal Juice about 2-weeks ago. I know I had the info as to how much
CornMeal Juice to use, but I did not write it down, and I cannot find that info now - when I am in need of concocting another
'HomeMade' Foliar Spray.

Would S K S please give me a link to this information, or tell me thow much 'full strength' CornMeal Juice per gallon of solution to add to my Foliar Spray.

KHWOZ, thanks for your reply; however, it doesn't answer my question.

I know how to make the Cornmeal Juice; 1-cup cornmeal soaked in 1-gal of water.

However, that link doesn't tell me what qty of the Cornmeal Juice to mix with compost tea, Garrett Juice or "any other natural foliar feeding spray".

Can you provide me that info, or a link where that data is specified?

It really doesn't matter. That's up to you. However you can start with 1-2 cups of corn meal juice per gallon of your compost tea recipe.

I agree with the Captain. I have used 1-2 cups per gallon many times. If you have a severe problem you could follow the link I provided. Use the juice straight and add whatever amendments you want to it.

Thanks for those definitive answers.

I am 'container' growing some tomatoes, and have no specific problems at present.
I just wanted to include it in my foliar spray as an ongoing preventative, and if I were to use only 1-2 oz. per gallon (as compared to 1-2 cups per gallon), that probably wouldn't be sufficient for the purpose.

I have black spot of some roses. 2 of them are in pots and I added cornmeal to the pots before all the rain started. Those 2 seem to be getting better. However, when it dries up, I plan to spray cornmeal juice on all the roses. I was wondering if i need to be concerned with the cornmeal interfering with reseeding of other plants near the roses?

Will the cornmeal have the same effect as corn glutten?

No. Plain corn meal and corn gluten meal are totally different organic products.

All plain corn meal products are natural nitrogen fertilizers and fungicides.
Corn gluten meal is a special byproduct of corn, mainly used to suppress new weed seeds in the lawn.

Corn meal tea or dry corn meal is excellent as a soil amendment. It will not harm any nearby plants or microbes in your soil.
