I have heard Howard say, and have read, that cauliflower leaves are edible. How are they used? In salads, or are there any recipes where they can be used as a side dish? I have not found any information on the use of auliflower leaves anywhere and would appreciate any help. I can't see throwing them all in the compost pile when there is an edible use for them.

In Howard's Organic Vegetable Gardening book he does indicate that the leaves are edible and that you should harvest the tender greens (leaves) anytime. I would assume you'd use them like you would any kind of salad greens.
