About how long does Texas Ash live? I heard today that they don't tend to live long.....

I would guess 45 years maximum. Similar to Arizona ash and the fruitless (worthless) mulberry tree (weed). By the way I am not trying to make a comparison between the mulberry and ash trees. The ash is a much nicer tree than the knotty mulberry.

Mikey, how do you figure the Texas Ash is similar to the Arizona Ash?

The Texas is pefectly adapted here and grows famously. Highly recommended tree.

The Arizona is on Howards 'cut it down NOW' list for being sickly, easily killed or broken.
