I am still wondering if the DE cat litter I bought is safe for me and my cats ( and dogs who like to visit the "treat box" now and then). The litter is from the Moultan company and seems to work very well.
Any info is helpful.

Not sure about that. I tried one that had DE in it but was worried about them inhaling it. Turns out it made one of my cats sneeze a lot so I quit. It was basically clay and DE. I agreed to try it but so far I like S'Wheat scoop or World's Best Cat Litter the most.

I'm trying out a new material but it's mostly being used for horse bedding right now. I like it, and the cats like it, and it's biodegradable. It's rice hulls. Soft and they hold ammonia smell well, and I can compost them later. Just about to add them to the compost pile. I'll let you know...
