I just spent about 30 min trying to find the "two step" ant control I saw on the board SOMEWHERE.... I have ants in flower pots and in / under the sidewalk in front of my house. I have tried the garret juice / orange oil / water drench on them. Seems to knock back any plants for a while and I think the ants just move with no forwarding address :-).

1. What is the second step that was mentioned somewhere on the board?

2. How do I keep the ants out of my flower pots -- they seem to love to incubate the eggs there because of the warmer temperatures.

THANKS.

This is not foolproof but I use DE in my potting soil and on my greenhouse shelves. I also water with a homemade Garrett Juice mixture. DE is too messy in the home though. Neem or one of the new plant oil insecticides should control ants in those situations.
