First please forgive my newness, but what is folair feeding I have read it as a suggestion in several places on tomatoes but have not been able to find what it is. Maybe I am just not looking in the right place. Help!

And thank you in advance.

It is a method of fertilizing plants by spraying the leaves (foliage), usually with a fine mist. I use a pressure sprayer and either cornmeal tea, compost tea, or one of the organic liquid fertilizers.

You're welcome. Foliar feeding is a very convenient method for fertilizing, imo. It's kind of a low dose regular intermittent feeding, and you can add other things as needed (ie molasses, Bt, or whatever specific things various plants may need.
