wood eating insects where limb cut

HELP! there is now a cavity due to insects inside where a limb was improperly cut.
Do I use "Tree Trunk Goop" or what ?????

Hi Roger,
It would help to know exactly what insects are invading your tree and what tree it is. I would suggest you contact your local extension service to see if they can help you to determine just what insect pest you have.
