| While vacationing in New England in June I happened to read a short squib in the U.S. News and World Report about research coming out on using cinnamon oil for mosquito repellant. When I got home I bought the cheapest bottle of oil of essence of cinnamon I could find in the local health food store - about $4.50 for an ounce. I spread a small amount on my legs and arms one evening when out on the patio to see if it would work. It worked great :D :D but the smell is very strong and gave me a headache :? . However, I'm sensitive to smells and my husband had no such reaction. Maybe some of you out there would be willing to experiment with dilluted formulas and let us all know. I will continue using it also but maybe in smaller amounts. |
